After many hours of plotting and planning, we've finally taken the plunge into the world of blogging. First, let us introduce ourselves. We are Peggy and Connie, aka the "Craft Junkies." While many people think we are sisters by birth, we're really only related through our love of crafting and, thus, just wannabes. As craft teachers and designers for Verses Rubber Stamps, we've had numerous requests to share some of our ideas, techniques and card creations on the web and today we are finally giving birth to our very own blog. We will be starting off slow until we get the hang of this blog world stuff but will at least post on a weekly basis. For our inaugural blog, we're going to share with you one of the cards we designed for Verses Rubber Stamps "stamp of the month" program. We hope you enjoy our blog and will visit often. And, don't forget to tell your friends about it!

Hi! I'm Connie. I am a Certified Copic Designer and artist. I teach rubber stamp classes and I am a member of the Verses Rubber Stamps design team. My favorite art techniques involve coloring with Copics, watercolor painting, brass stencils and cool ways to make different background papers. I also do custom sewing and love to cook and bake.
